All year, the 4 Houses compete for the coveted WILDE House Cup.
The winning team earns their reward through challenges, contests, teamwork, grit, and by demonstrating the qualities of WILDE in everyday life.
In Earth, you climb hills with steady steps. You build strong forts. You speak calmly in morning circle. Friends count on you. Your determination becomes immovable, and you grow reliable and trustworthy.
Your guardian is the Rockheart Stonewarden Giant, carved from the Blue Mountains themselves. As tall as a hill, with broad shoulders, and a friendly face shining through green cracks, your guardian protects the land, and helps tired travelers find rest. "Stand firm and share warmth" you hear, grumbled like soft thunder.
Your symbol — the immovable mountains — represents your firm determination.

In Animal House, you race trails. You hunt for treasures in groups. You use your kind heart to stand up for what's right while also exercising tolerance. You stick with your pack through every challenge.
Your guardian is the Crimson Spirit Stag, with origins from the first thunderstorm, antlers like red lightning, and a glowing scarlet shape. It outruns shadows to protect friends, urging you to "charge swift and blaze onwards!"
Your symbol — the head and antlers of a stag — models courage and confidence.

In Forest House, you explore. You whisper to trees and make maps with friends. You learn to hear nature's songs. You grow patient to solve puzzles. You notice bird songs and feel the movement of the wind.
Your guardian is the Whispering Elder Ent, rooted from the first seed in misty times, a tall figure with bark like armour and eyes that shine like green emeralds. The Ent guides wanderers to pause and to "listen deep, and grow wise."
Your symbol — strong trees with deep roots — are alive everywhere around you.

In Tides House, you dive into watery quests. You flow around fears. You make strong, calm bonds. You help friends through stormy moods and change with every twist in the trail.
Your guardian is the Eternal Tideback Turtle, a huge creature from old stories, born from the first big flood that shaped the valleys. Its shell is as big as an island, marked with glowing blue lines from forgotten storms. It carries lost kids through wild waves, teaching you to ride big feelings or let calm flows wash worries away. "Water can flow, or it can crash — be water, my friend," it rumbles.
Your symbol — a swirling wave — flows in rivers around the school.

As you breathe in the crisp autumn air and stand near mysterious whispering woods, you notice the leaves have turned bright red, gold, and orange. You've been at WILDE School for a little over two months now. It's been fun! You've learned lots, and made many new friends.
But there's something you don't know - WILDE has a mysterious tradition in which you're about to take part. Let the Sorting Ceremony commence!
Excitement grows as all WILDE students from Kindergarten to Grade 8 gather near the Medicine Wheel Fire Pit. Your own nervousness turns to excitement as you take your place among your peers. You notice the smell of fresh pine needles and smoking birch wood. Teachers look on with curious smiles.
Suddenly, leaves rustle — although there isn't any wind! It's as if the mountains are coming alive and taking a deep breath.
Nature has watched you play and explore — climbing rocks, drawing animals, playing games with friends — and now, it is about to reveal what it has learned about your inner strengths.
The air goes still. The fire flickers. A hush falls over every student — and your name is called!
You step forward, heart thumping, your face suddenly feeling flush.
Then... it speaks.
Gasps fill the air, and then cheers erupt! Your schoolmates are WILDE with pride and you feel like you have found your place!
Now, this is a mysterious ritual. We can't tell you EXACTLY what happens here — only students and teachers at WILDE know the truth.
No matter your House, the fun lies in the WILDE community as a whole. Friendly rivalries spark into deep friendships, and character is built along the way.
At the end of the school year, before Spring turns to Summer, one final event brings everyone together — one final test of creativity, teamwork, and grit.
The WILDE House Cup is awarded to the winning team, and all Houses gather to celebrate the growth of every student over the year. The best adventures come from friendships, finding yourself, and your place in the WILDE world.
